Vantagepoint - Team focus detail

• Insight/ Tools for discerning the level and value of warranty work on assets – specifically identifying the level of work that is unnecessarily undertaken

• VantagePoint has the ability to condition monitor the ‘asset’ in real time and enable the recording of a wide number data pertaining to the condition and work carried out on said monitor. We take the view in having the details on warranty on the asset, as standard, i.e. date of purchase and date of expiry, to enable us to send an alert/notification say within a month (or as specified) of date of expiry thus negating the level of work unnecessarily undertaken.

• Insight/ Tools to identify the impact of poor asset classification practice and potential for savings
• Our standard provision provides for configuring asset clarification, the recording of downtime, faults etc. that allows this data to be imputed via an API into a given asset management system. By recording real time data on each asset by type, make, serial number etc. potential for savings will be available in comparing by analysing comparable assets.

• Insight/ Tools to benchmarking high value assets in terms of predictability and causality in maintenance requirements and failure.
• This is the core provision of VantagePoint in condition monitoring the asset in real time thus alerting, any given number of staff/management etc., the deterioration of said given asset. As such, the information we provide, in real time, allows real time analytics vs predictive analytics. We provide all data, as ‘Big Data’ that can be used for trends, predictive analytics etc.

Vantage Point is working on all three insights but keen to discuss with others additional inputs and outputs for M&E services, field inputs and analytics for both Non Infrastructure and Infrastructure assets particular the non-electro mechanical assets (electro-mechanical - anything that you can switch on/off).
