24402 PPMs or planned maintenance (pre-planned) in 2015 17325 reactive/ unplanned jobs Reactive work has short leads times and is disruptive 70 percent unplanned jobs relate to pumps - such as unblocking 60-40 time split is pumps unplanned 85% completion tgt PPMs completed and cam very close last year (84%) Reactive works take precident - Categories of unplanned: emergency urgent weekly monthly annual OEM devices have native frequencies completed in line with manufacturer Tacit knowledge - warranty - nobody catches these We don't really record operational maintenance that occurs out of cycle Warranty information not held - mainly tacit by field and technical staff Some sites not actually attached to scada consistenly as scada (small sites) Asset performance - availability/ reliability is monitored - length of time functioning / how long the jb is outstanding - cost implications are not calculated or considered As don't use warranty information can often go for cheaper pump in reactive solution Don't really know if that pump will likely fail Not very often stores of the pumps - buy on demand - typically price / tacit knowledge driven as reactive and sometimes urgent
